How MyEVReport works

A clear, three-step process from booking to battery health report. We come to you, test the vehicle and deliver an easy-to-understand report within 24 hours.

Designed for buyers, sellers and dealers

MyEVReport was created to remove the uncertainty around used EV battery health. Instead of relying on dashboard range estimates or guesswork, we run a dedicated battery health test and present the results in a clear, independent report.

Whether you’re buying your first EV, selling a vehicle privately or stocking EVs as a dealer, the process is the same: simple, mobile and transparent.

The three steps to your EV battery report

From enquiry to final report, here’s what to expect when you book a MyEVReport battery health test.

1. Tell us about the vehicle

You start by completing our online form with a few key details about the vehicle and where it’s located.

  • Registration number and make/model
  • Postcode where the vehicle is located
  • Your preferred date and time of day

We confirm compatibility and availability, then send you a secure payment link to lock in your booking.

2. On-site EV battery health test

On the day, an EV-trained technician visits your chosen location and connects directly to the vehicle to run the battery health test.

  • Typically 10–20 minutes on site per vehicle
  • No need for a home charger or cables
  • Non-intrusive diagnostic connection only

We capture battery health data, temperature information and other key values used to calculate our report.

3. Your MyEVReport is delivered

Within 24 hours, you receive your EV battery health report by email, ready to use in adverts, discussions with buyers or your own peace of mind.

  • PDF report plus mobile-friendly summary
  • Battery SoH %, real-world range estimates and a clear summary of battery condition
  • Notes and advisories in plain English

You can forward the report to buyers, dealers or finance providers as proof of the vehicle’s battery condition.

What to expect before, during and after your appointment

We keep the process simple and keep you informed at every stage so there are no surprises.

Before the appointment

  • You submit your booking request with vehicle and location details.
  • We confirm compatibility and coverage for your postcode.
  • We agree a date/time window and send a payment link.
  • You receive a confirmation email with your booking details.

On the day

  • The technician arrives within the agreed time window.
  • We confirm vehicle identity and perform basic checks.
  • Our equipment is connected to the vehicle to read battery data.
  • Once the test is complete, we disconnect and you can use the vehicle as normal.

After the appointment

  • We process the data and generate your MyEVReport.
  • Your PDF report and summary are emailed to you within 24 hours.
  • You can reply with any questions about the results.
  • Reports can be re-sent or downloaded again on request.

What we do – and what we don’t do

MyEVReport focuses solely on EV battery health. We don’t sell cars, set finance or influence the deal – our role is to provide independent information.

What we do

  • Perform a dedicated EV battery health test on site.
  • Calculate State of Health (SoH) and real-world range estimates.
  • Provide a clear summary of battery condition and key notes.
  • Explain the results in plain English where needed.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t buy or sell vehicles.
  • We don’t offer finance or warranties.
  • We don’t share your report with any third party without your permission.
  • We don’t adjust, repair or modify the battery.

Who uses MyEVReport?

The process is the same, whether you’re a private buyer, a seller or a dealer – but how you use the report may differ.

Private buyers

Arrange a test before you commit to buying an EV from a dealer or private seller. Use the report to confirm the battery’s condition and to negotiate if needed.

Private sellers

Order a report before listing your EV for sale. Include it in your advert and share it with interested buyers to build trust and justify your asking price.

Dealers and fleets

Use MyEVReport across multiple vehicles each month to support stocking decisions, part-exchange values and online adverts. Trade and fleet pricing is available.

Ready to book your EV battery health test?

If the process sounds right for you, the next step is to send us your vehicle and location details. We’ll confirm availability and get your booking in the diary.
